This is another one that my dad and I collaborated on. I wrote the guitar part while sitting by the fire on a rainy day. When my dad was writing the melody and the lyrics he remembered how I wrote the guitar part and applied it to the lyrics. If you listen, the first line is "lazy night and a gentle rain." The lyrics are also in part inspired by Charles Dicken's "Great Expectations" in which Pip, the protagonist, kind of loses sight of who he is; but eventually finds himself again.
